The 30% English Department was established in 2005 and has not accepted students since the 2022-2023 academic year. The Turkish Department began accepting students since the 2022-2023 academic year.

Higher Grade Transition
1. Those who hold a bachelor's degree may pursue master's programs and, if they meet the relevant requirements, doctoral programs accepted with a bachelor's degree.
2. Undergraduate students are eligible to participate in double major programs offered by the higher education institutions they attend. Students enrolled in double major programs may take courses from two diploma programs simultaneously and, if successful, receive two separate bachelor's degrees.

Graduation Requirements
Students who complete all compulsory courses, elective courses and two compulsory internships (Office and Practical Internship) in the 4-year curriculum and complete a course load of 240 ECTS are eligible to graduate.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Our graduates can work in the design and application stages in the fields of Interior and Environmental Design, Lighting / Acoustics Design, Furniture Design, Conservation - Restoration (Re-functioning) in public institutions and organizations, the private sector, municipalities, and academia.

Assessment and Grading
1. Measurement and evaluation methods; exam types and their contribution to course success grades are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the fundamental principles established by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
2. Various methods are used in measurement and evaluation, including assignments, projects, practical applications, presentations, midterm exams, and final exams.
3. Letter and/or numerical grading systems are used to assess student performance.
4. Theoretical Courses: Measurements and evaluations are made through written exams, homework and presentation studies.
5. Theoretical + Applied Courses: Measurements and evaluations are made based on project studies, homework studies, in-class application studies and theoretical knowledge.
6. Applied Courses: Measurements and evaluations are made through project studies and presentations.
